BURGLARY
A business alarm brought officers to the Dollar General store at 3305 Summer Avenue. It was 5:31 a.m. March 28, 2023.
The officers learned that someone had heaved a concrete block through the store’s front glass door to make entry. The burglar stole large amounts of tobacco products and some clothing items.
Police learned that a Family Dollar store at 3400 Summer Avenue had also been burglarized, and were able to get video footage in that break-in.
A suspect is a black male wearing a black skull cap, black graphic hoodie, blue jean shorts and white Adidas shoes. Anyone with information should contact CrimeStoppers at 528-CASH (2274) for a possible award.
