A Cold Case
Reports of a shooting sent Memphis Police officers to the 6800 block of Kirby Mills Cove at 8:10 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2020. At the scene they found two children suffering from gunshot wounds.
The two were LeQuan Boyd, 16, and Ashlynn Luckett, just six years old. They were transported to local hospitals. Both died the next day.
The investigation at the scene revealed that suspects occupied a dark-colored SUV from which they fired numerous shots into the residence. Anyone with information is asked to call or text CrimeStoppers, 528-CASH (2274). An award up to $1,000 is available. An additional award up to $25,000 is available from the FBI.
