ROBBERY OF BUSINESS
Memphis Police Officers responded to an armed robbery at a Marathon gas station at 3877 Park Avenue in east Memphis at 12:05 a.m. June 21, 2023.
At the scene officers learned that three males entered the business, two of them with handguns drawn. Two suspects approached the counter while a third man stood at the entrance door as “lookout.” One of the first suspects kicked open a door leading behind the counter and forced the clerk at gunpoint to empty the cash register.
The three suspects fled with the money on foot. Memphis Police issue the following descriptions:
Suspect #1 – a male in a black hoodie, gray jeans, black and white Van tennis shoes, with handgun.
Suspect #2 – a male wearing a black and white striped shirt, black pants and white shoes, with handgun.
Suspect #3: a male in a light-colored shirt, red pants and black and white shoes.
No arrests have been made. The public’s help is sought in identifying the trio. Call CrimeStoppers at 5428-CASH (2274).
