HOMICIDE
A shooting report brought Memphis Police officers assigned to the Raines Road station to 4822 Hillbrook Road, between West Shelby Drive and Fairly High School at 4:57 a.m. Sunday October 2, 2022.
On the way, the officers received an additional call telling them that gunshot victim David Vester was being driven to Methodist South Hospital. Vester didn’t make it there alive. He was pronounced dead inside the vehicle by Memphis Fire Department United 25 paramedics.
It was almost 5:30 a.m. Police authorities are asking for the public’s help in this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact CrimeStoppers at 528-CASH (2274)
