A Cold Case
Memphis Police received a report at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday March 2, 2021 of a woman found dead inside a residence on Pendleton Street near Lamar Avenue in south Memphis.
Officers arrived to find the body of Lamonica Myers, 20, inside the home. She had been severely beaten. The Medical Examiner soon ruled her death a homicide. Myers had two small children.
