Attempted Carjacking

A Cold Case
It was about 8 p.m. on Friday November 22, 2019 when Memphis Police Department officers from the North Main Station responded to a reported shooting in the Medical District near the intersection of Dunlap Street and Poplar Avenue.

The victim was stabilized and transferred to Regional One in critical condition. The woman was leaving work and was approaching her parked car when the crime occurred. The suspects ran northbound on Dunlap, then west on Mosby, and again north on Leath Street toward Peach Avenue. Police described the men this way:

Suspect One is a male black, five-six to five-eight inches tall, with light complexion and freckles. He was wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark shoes and was armed with a silver handgun.

Suspect Two is a male black, five-eight to five-ten inches tall. He wore a dark hooded jacket, light-colored pants and shoes.
