HOMICIDE
It was 10:15 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2020 when the Memphis Police Department sent officers from the Ridgeway station in response to a shooting report. Officers arrived in the 3400 block of Sealy Avenue to find a gunshot victim. Kahlil Woods was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
Officers determined the victim was with a group of males at the corner of Chevron and Sealy just before he was shot. Police need more information. Anyone who knows something about this homicide is asked to contact CrimeStoppers by calling or texting 528-CASH (2274).
