HOMICIDE
Memphis Police officers assigned to the Ridgeway Station responded to a shooting report on Friday, April 1, 2022. They arrived in the Cedar Run Apartments on East Point Cove in the Hickory Hill area to find a 13-year-old girl suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Memphis Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim dead on the scene inside an apartment.
Officers learned that after several shots were fired four young males were seen running from the scene. The bullets went through the wall and into the apartment.
