HOMICIDE
A report of a shooting brought Memphis Police Department officers from the Airways Station to the 3100 block of Kimball Avenue near Semmes Street where they found a gunshot victim. Chester Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene by Memphis Fire Department personnel.
Officers determined that numerous shots had been fired into a house and into a black Dodge Challenger. No other information was available.
