HOMICIDE
It was 12:44 a.m. on September 4, 2018 when Memphis Police officers responded to a shooting call at Fire Station Number 10, 148 South Parkway East. On arrival officers found Christopher Reed, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Memphis Fire Dept. paramedics pronounced Reed dead.
An initial investigation revealed that Reed was inside a home in the 1800 block of Farrington Drive in the Riverside neighborhood when unidentified subjects fired shots into the home. Bullets struck Reed. Friends in the house drove him to the fire station. Anyone with information that can help solve this crime is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 528-CASH (2274).
